Badimalika is a religious and pilgrimage site located in the Bajura district of Nepal. It is situated in the far-western region of the country and holds great significance for Hindus. Badimalika is known for the Badimalika Temple, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Bhagwati.
The Badimalika Temple is situated at an altitude of around 4,275 meters (14,029 feet) on a hilltop, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes. The temple is considered one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, which are believed to be the sacred places where body parts of the goddess Sati fell after her self-immolation.
The temple attracts numerous devotees, particularly during the religious festivals of Dashain and Nag Panchami. Pilgrims from different parts of Nepal and even neighboring India visit Badimalika to seek blessings and offer prayers to the goddess. The temple complex also includes other smaller temples and shrines dedicated to various deities.
